Today, the company’s only activity is the processing of salads vegetables to a ready-to-use phase. The resulting product is a cut, washed mix of various types of mostly leafy vegetables. After an awkward beginning when the company was looking for its place in the market, it was in 2011 that it succeeded in markedly extending its production. For 2012, the company plans a total production of 4 million packs.
The product portfolio is fairly wide and includes two to three dozen variously mixed combinations. Salads are supplied to the market in flow packs. To extend lifetime (5-7 days), the air composition is modified (oxygen level reduced and CO2 level increased).
Customers are almost exclusively chain stores in the Czech Republic, Slovakia and Poland. Much attention is continuously paid to hygiene during production.
Individual products are subject to regular microbiological checks. The company has HACCP certification and ahieved BRC certification since 2011.
